Our journey began in the resilient heart of post-partition India, when our great-grandfather, Agya Ram Gulati, envisioned a new beginning in 1949. After being displaced by the partition, he turned to what he knew best — fabric, craftsmanship, and the art of clothing — laying the foundation for what would become our family’s lifelong legacy.

For decades, the Gulati family dedicated themselves to the clothing trade, building trust, relationships, and a deep understanding of Indian textiles. In 1984, our first retail store opened its doors, marking the start of our physical presence in the world of fashion. As our vision grew, so did our family’s passion. A second store followed in 2000, then in 2015, and now in 2025, we proudly step into the digital age with SABAR — our newest chapter, rooted in heritage but focused on the future.
